Outreach Policy
Last updated: June 5, 2026
JacSend is a tool for legitimate business outreach. You are responsible for how you use it. This is not legal advice; consult a lawyer for compliance in your jurisdiction. This product-specific policy supplements the policies linked in the footer.
This Outreach Policy applies to JacSend. By accessing, visiting, browsing, registering for, downloading, installing, or otherwise using JacSend or any part of it, in any manner and through any device or means, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by this Outreach Policy and by all other policies and agreements governing your use of JacSend, including the policies linked in the footer (collectively, the "Terms"). This policy supplements, and does not replace, those company policies. If you do not agree to all of the Terms, in their entirety and without modification, you must not access, visit, browse, or use JacSend, and you must cease any such access or use immediately.
Your responsibilities
- Only email people when you have a legitimate business reason and a lawful basis to contact them (consent, legitimate interest, or applicable exemption).
- Do not use purchased lists without permission, contacts who have opted out, or addresses you know you may not lawfully email.
- Honor unsubscribe requests, mark Replied or Declined promptly, and use the blocklist for do-not-contact addresses.
- Comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, and other anti-spam and privacy laws that apply to you and your recipients.
- Include accurate sender information and a way to opt out in emails where required by law.
Prohibited use
- Spam, phishing, malware, harassment, or deceptive content.
- Contacting minors or sensitive categories without proper legal basis.
- Circumventing plan limits, blocklists, or platform safeguards.
- Using JacSend to harvest or resell contact data obtained through the service.
Email delivery
All live outreach is sent through your own SMTP and domain. JacSend does not send email on your behalf from a shared subdomain. Use Preview on your campaign to test AI drafts without sending.
Contact suggestions (Apollo.io)
JacSend offers an optional feature that suggests B2B contacts based on your campaign industry, target persona, and goal. This feature is powered by Apollo.io, an independent third-party data provider. When you request suggestions, JacSend sends your campaign criteria to Apollo.io and stores matching results in your private account.
- JacSend does not scrape websites, crawl the open web, or fetch URLs on your behalf.
- JacSend does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data from Apollo.io, including email addresses, titles, or employers.
- JacSend does not verify that suggested contacts consent to receive your emails or that outreach to them is lawful in your jurisdiction.
- Apollo.io's terms, privacy policies, and licensing terms govern how they collect and provide contact data. You use suggested contacts at your own risk.
- Monthly suggestion limits apply by plan. Suggested contacts are visible only to you and are never shared with other JacSend users.
You remain solely responsible for confirming you may contact anyone you add to a campaign, whether you uploaded them or received them as a suggestion.
Your contact data
Contacts you upload or add via suggestions are visible only to you. We process them to provide the service (drafting, sending, deduplication). We do not sell your contact lists. When you use contact suggestions, campaign criteria you provide may be transmitted to Apollo.io as described above.
Disclaimer
JacSend is provided "as is." We are not liable for your outreach activities, deliverability, regulatory compliance, or for errors in third-party contact data from Apollo.io or other providers. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the service in violation of this policy or applicable law.
